A week in Coconut Grove: the Miami you didn’t know existed
If Brickell is Miami's downtown core and Coral Gables is its established old-guard, Coconut Grove is the Miami most visitors never meet — and it's where many of our buyers eventually land.
The canopy alone makes it ten degrees cooler than Brickell on a summer afternoon. Sailing out of the Coconut Grove Sailing Club at 7 a.m., morning coffee at the Schoolhouse, lunch at Glass & Vine in Peacock Park, and you're back home by 2 p.m. for a swim before the afternoon thunderstorm clears the sky.
Pricing has run twenty percent in the last three years and shows no signs of slowing. The micro-locations to watch: south of Bird Avenue, the streets between McFarlane and Tigertail, and the gated enclaves near the Kampong botanical garden.
